KIHOMAC Wins KC-130J Observer Seat Contract to Support USMC Refueling Missions
Layton, Utah – September 21, 2023 – KIHOMAC, Inc. has been selected as the prime contractor for the KC-130J Observer Seat contract. The award is part of a U.S. Navy Full Rate Production Multi-Award Contract (FRP-MAC) administered by NAWCAD. This multi-year, $9.6 million contract calls for the production and delivery of 190 Observer Seats.
The new seat system will significantly improve visibility and situational awareness for personnel supporting U.S. Marine Corps aerial refueling operations. The enhanced design improves ergonomics, durability, and field usability—supporting safer, more efficient mission execution for the warfighter.
