KIHOMAC Wins Spot on Navy USV component development and prototyping

KIHOMAC, Inc. has been awarded a position on the Navy USV component development and prototyping team under a major Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This contract, issued by Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and supported by Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Carderock, has a ceiling value of $982.1 million.

The award demonstrates KIHOMAC’s strong capabilities in supporting advanced unmanned systems development for the U.S. Navy. It also highlights the company’s continued expansion in defense innovation and maritime autonomy.

The Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) Family of Systems (FoS) contract supports six critical functional areas:

  • Mission Support Systems

  • Logistics and Sustainment
