KIHOMAC Certified as ISO9001:2008 and AS9100:2004 Compliant

Alexandria, Virginia (December 9, 2010) - KIHOMAC is proud to announce it is now certified as AS9100:2004 & ISO 9001:2008 compliant for the Rocky Mountain region.  Certification assessment was performed in accordance with the requirements of AS9104A and EAGLE Registrations.  EAGLE Registration Inc. is accredited under the aerospace Registrar Management Program.

KIHOMAC underwent a one-year evaluation process that included Customer Oriented Processes such as Product/Process Design, Bid/Tender Offer and Delivery.  We developed a quality manual with emphasis on control of non-conforming products, configuration management, risk management and control of documents.  Corrective actions were taken where necessary and any incidents of non-conformance to the quality management standard were eliminated.  The process culminated in a comprehensive three-day registration audit by EAGLE.  KIHOMAC received its AS9100 & ISO 9001 certificate of registration on Dec 9, 2010.

The certificate of compliance with AS9100 & ISO 9001 recognizes that our quality objectives will be enforced and that we will measure and monitor customer satisfaction.  Additionally, we will ensure on-time delivery and product acceptance, as well as demand zero defects in our delivered products.  With this certification, our customers can be confident that KIHOMAC’s top priority is to exceed our customer’s requirements with an emphasis on continually improving our quality management system.

To maintain our certification, KIHOMAC will perform quarterly internal audits to sustain compliance and institutionalize continued process improvement.  Our decision to become AS9100 & ISO 9001 certified is an integral part of our commitment to provide our customers with quality services, and to meet and exceed customer demands.
